Three weeks of Japan, that we mainly spent in Tokyo, except for some short trips to Kawasaki (to attend the celebration of Kanamara Matsuri a.k.a. the “Festival of the Steel Phallus”), Kyoto, Yokohama and Osaka raised our level of awareness, that only a very few things that look like chicken actually taste like chicken. Now to prevent you from any unpleasant surprises, we’ve composed this short Tokyo Travel Guide to give you a brief but comprehensive preparation.

Some people believe Skytree's main purpose is to broadcast television and radio. But that's actually not entirely true. It's true main purpose is to let you enjoy the awesome view over the worlds most populous metropolitan area a.k.a. Tokyo. Fugu fish menu review

Fugu fish in an aquarium.Fugu fish, also known as puffer fish can be deadly. Very deadly, very quickly. If the cook looks boozed, sleazy or if he/she looks unhappy when they see you, then it might be a good idea to reconsider the restaurant choice. Because once you've placed your order it's too late and the thrill of eating something that can kill you is... Well, how should I say? Exiting is understated, but Ronny James Dio nailed it as he sang: "the magic that we'll feel is worth a lifetime". And to be honest, the most remarkable thing about eating fugu fish was the thrill caused by my imagination, which instantly went on a rampage on it's own as soon as we started eating the three stages menu.

Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Tower is one of the two VERY impressive and MUST SEE observation platforms in Tokyo. If you've ever played Sim City, you'll instantly love it! If you never heared about Sim City, read on! And you'll soon discover why we're so crazy about his place.

At the first glace, Tokyo Tower looks very similar than the Eiffel Tower found in Paris. But with a height of 333 meters, Tokyo Tower is about 9 meters taller than its French counterpart, whose height is "just" 324 meters.
